2022 Family Spiritist Retreat - Connecticut

The 2022 Family Spiritist Retreat will happen on July 24th at Old Mine Park in Trumbull, Connecticut.

The theme of this year is based on John 5:8 passage when Jesus asks a man who had been an invalid for 38 years: “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” We are preparing activities with accessibility in mind, so we can reflect on what it is like to live with any sort of challenge: vision, hearing, speaking, mobility, etc.

* Bring your own picnic!  This year, we will have a big picnic and we encourage families to bring their own food. Optionally, at registration, you can pre-order a lunch box that includes a sandwich, a fruit, and a cookie.

* Early bird registration discounted fees until June 30th. After that, a $5 late fee will be added per person. Registrations close July 6th.

* The retreat is held in a public park, therefore all participants are required to wear the event t-shirt to distinguish them from the general public.

* The event is held outdoors, therefore we recommend that all participants wear jeans or short pants, tennis shoes; and use sunscreen and repellent.

* The goal of the retreat is to provide a spiritual environment for families to meet, study and reflect; we expect moral conduct in accordance with the retreat’s fraternal purposes from all participants.

* Parents, or an adult designated by the parents, are responsible for their children at all times and may be required to assist to keep the discipline of the event.
