2022 Family Spiritist Retreat Theme Revealed

In its 19th edition, the annual event which started in 2004 in Connecticut, announces the theme and logo for the 2022 event.

We were initially inspired by the movie CODA, especially the scene when the parents attend a music concert at the daughter's school. From a Spiritist point of view, physical disabilities or any limitations are divine loving tools to help our spiritual progress. But what about disabilities of the spirit? Are we suffering from spiritual paralysis?

In John chapter 5, Jesus meets a man at the Sheep-Gate pool who had his legs paralyzed for 38 years:

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I am making my way, someone else steps down ahead of me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise up, take your mat and walk.” At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk. (John 5:6-9)

Please join us as we reflect on Jesus' words and what they mean to each one of us, today.

We are still confirming the locations where the event will take place on July 24th. So far we have Connecticut (hosting CT, NY, NJ, and MA), Maryland (Rockville), Texas (Dallas), and Florida (Miami) confirmed. We are waiting to hear from San Diego, Atlanta, and Baltimore.

What's Spiritism?

A game-changing perspective on life. Based on the work of Allan Kardec, The Spirits’ Book, published in 1857, is the most comprehensive and impactful research into spiritual matters ever written. Spiritism guides us to see differently by accepting and understanding our spiritual reality and life purpose.
